On February 6, 2012 the National Modeling and Simulation Coalition held their inaugural congress. The opening presentation by the keynote speaker Aneesh Chopra, assistant to Barack Obama and U.S. Chief Technology Officer, presented the Virtual Family as part of a key topic: the Virtual Physiological Patient.
The IT'IS Foundation is proud to announce the launch of an online database for thermal and dielectric parameters of biological tissues as part of its ongoing effort to provide the community with a series of highly detailed anatomical models: the Virtual Population.
We have started a new initiative to continually enhance and extend our human and animal models (see Virtual Population Project). We will keep you updated regularly with new developments and new downloads.
The IT'IS Foundation releases the Virtual Classroom for scientific purposes. The models were partially funded by the BfS, Germany, and extends the Virtual Family models.
The enhanced models from the Virtual Family Project with unprecedented anatomical detail and accuracy are now available to the scientific community through the IT'IS Foundation.
