One of the goals of the IT'IS Foundation is to improve the quality of people's lives through its initiative IT’IS for Health. IT'IS is also committed to provide the research community with unique tools that promise consistent progress. Thus, we are making all static human and animal models from the Virtual Population available free-of-charge to academia. To enable to extend the Virtual Population and continuously improve the models (initial costs per model are approximately the equivalent of one person year and the annual maintenance effort about 3 persons months), we are forced to ask for a license fee if the models are used commercially. Learn more about technical details and conditions of use of the static Virtual Population models here.
The research at IT'IS also made possible the development of posable models, compatible with the simulation platform SEMCAD X, for which the posture of the limbs can be adjusted to the user's needs. Morphed models can also be generated based on specific BMI/size requirements. Other requests or wishes can be addressed to our team.
