Elisabetta Iavarone joined the IT'IS Foundation in March 2022. Elisabetta earned her PhD at EPFL in Computational Neuroscience, focusing on biologically-detailed simulations of neurons and their connections, where she continued as post-doctoral fellow. Starting with a degree in biology in Italy, she focused on Neuroscience and progressively moved to more tech-related research and applications.
